ORITMO is a marketplace that distributes all the wealth of sounds from Brazil to music creators worldwide

Why ORITMO?

First of all, we are a group of Brazilian music lovers. What other world musicography comprises the elegance of bossa nova and the explosion of maracatu? The sensuality of samba and the energy of frevo? The sophistication of chorinho and the tribalism of carioca funk? It's time to spill all this melodic and rhythmic richness to the four corners of the world through the most democratic of media, without intermediaries, allowing art to come to life in any audiovisual product, in Brazil and abroad.

Our model is royalty-free, the license that allows the buyer to use the acquired audio in their production, however they want, whenever they want and forever. The artist retains the public performance copyright. And the best part: with royalty-free, the music licensing process is simplified and public performance audio royalties follow automatically to the author abroad and/or in Brazil.

File Registration

The audio sent undergoes a quality analysis on our servers, where we verify its integrity, bitrate and other mastering attributes that we consider to be an acceptable standard. We also set maximum duration limits for each track. There are also price suggestions that should serve as a guide, but not as a requirement.

When a file is sent, our system creates a sample so that it can be partially heard on the web, prior to purchase. In order for the sample to be protected from illegal copying, the system prints a sound watermark over it. The artist doesn't need to worry about that.
